Assistant General Manager, Hair Color Bar

As the Madison Reed Hair Color Bar Assistant General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the client experience is seamless from arrival to departure. This role is important to our team members' performance and clients' Hair Color Bar experience through learning more about our clients' diverse expectations, needs, and delivering service that acknowledges their uniqueness. The Assistant General Manager is the expert on Madison Reed, including consultations, color services, hair care products, blowout services, unlimited roots membership program and subscriptions while providing services to Hair Color Bar clients and leading the team.

At Madison Reed, we aim to pay competitively. The starting hourly rate for this position is between $20 -$22 per hour, plus commission and tips. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is eligible for commissions and tips in accordance with the terms of the Company's total rewards plan. Commissions and tips for this position will vary based on factors of individual performance.

What you'll do

• Manages, guides, and coaches the Hair Color Bar team on a daily basis.
• Achieves monthly sales & business goals and other leading Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).
• Manages employee schedules based on forecasts and business needs.
• Manages labor and hours budgets based on forecasts and business trends.
• Engages with clients to deliver a distinct and delightful client experience, mapped to their diverse needs, resulting in future client engagement with the Hair Color Bar
• Actively works in all positions including Colorist and Associate Colorist, providing services.
• Support recruitment and networking efforts in partnership with talent acquisition to identify new team members.
