Duties

• Provide expert hair styling, cutting, coloring, and finishing services tailored to each client’s preferences and features
• Perform specialized treatments such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, hair threading, and makeup application to enhance client beauty routines
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning tools, stations, and work areas in accordance with health regulations
• Utilize salon management software like MINDBODY to schedule appointments, update client records, and manage retail sales efficiently
• Assist clients with product recommendations and retail sales through upselling techniques that meet their needs
• Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, check-in/check-out procedures, and appointment confirmations
• Mentor junior staff or apprentices to promote skill development and uphold high service standards
• Stay current on industry trends, color theory, new techniques like straight razor shaves or barbering styles, and product innovations to provide cutting-edge services

Experience

• Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a cosmetologist or hair stylist with a strong portfolio of diverse services performed
