• Apply advanced techniques such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and hair threading to meet client requests.
• Use salon software like MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness according to industry regulations to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Educate clients on hair care routines, product recommendations, and retail options to enhance their salon experience.
• Assist with front desk duties such as greeting clients, managing appointments, and supporting store management tasks when needed.
• Upsell retail products like hair care items and makeup applications to maximize client satisfaction and store revenue.
• Mentor junior stylists or apprentices by sharing techniques in hair coloring, barbering with straight razors, or other specialized skills.

Experience

• Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a cosmetologist or hairstylist with a strong portfolio of work.
