Fright Fest Makeup Artist

Overview:*All applicants* *MUST* *attend an audition on one of the following dates:* *July 11, 18, 19, 25, 26 - 1:30 pm**July 31 - 6:00 pm* *August 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 16 - 1:30 pm**August 14 - 6:00*

Responsibilities:Qualifications:* Must be 18 years of age or older. * Availability to work Thursday-Sunday ,including nights, weekends and holidays, from September through November. * Must be available for training prior to the start of the Fright Fest season. * Airbrush experience preferred. * Cosmetology/Beauty/SFX training/schooling preferred. * Continued standing, walking, kneeling, and bending for up to 6 hours at a time with the ability to lift up to forty pounds. * Ability to take direction while being able to work well in fast paced environment around large groups of people. * Must perform well individually and in group settings. * Please bring a portfolio of your previous work, if applicable.

Qualifications:Responsibilities:* Ensure that characters and performers are transformed accurately to their area in assigned makeup. * Create upwards of 24 characters in a 6 hour time frame. * Apply airbrush makeup, foam latex and silicone prosthetics to create characters. * Follow and maintain all sanitation and safety standards. * Troubleshoot and fix issues involving makeup applications, touch ups, removals and airbrushes. * Maintain proper airbrush care. * Ensure work station and room is kept clean and organized. * Assist in costuming characters properly according to area. * Assist in character transport when needed. * Perform daily audits to ensure character integrity. * Other duties as assigned.
