Full and Part-Time Hair Stylist/Cosmetologist - GreatClips of Cherrywood Plaza Shopping Center

Overview: We are seeking talented, experienced and motivated Hair Stylists to join our dynamic team in a very busy new Great Clips Salon, in the Cherrywood Shopping Center, in Clementon, NJ. We are located directly next to the new Shoprite. As a Hair Stylist in our salon, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity, skill and passion for hair styling while providing exceptional customer service to our clients. If you have a strong skill set in hair styling, customer service care, and enjoy working in a fun (fast paced) environment, we would love to hear from you!

Duties: - Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, and styling - Provide excellent customer care service by actively listening to clients' needs and preferences - Offer professional advice and recommendations on hair care and styling products - Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and salon equipment - Assist with front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and processing payments - Actively participate in retail sales by promoting and selling salon products - Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in hair styling through continuous education and training - Mentor junior stylists and provide guidance when needed - Perform custom cut/style services as requested by clients

Skills: - Strong proficiency in hair styling techniques including cutting, and styling - Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients - Retail sales experience - Familiarity with scissor and clipper techniques for shaving or trimming - Valid cosmetology license in New Jersey - Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
