Job Overview

$17 hourly + 30% commission split (DOE) after $1500 weekly minimum met. ALSO chairs available to rent.

Duties

• Provide professional hair styling services including cuts, blowouts, updos, and special occasion styles to meet client preferences.
• Perform hair coloring treatments utilizing color theory knowledge to achieve desired shades while maintaining hair health.
• Conduct hair threading and makeup application to complete the beauty experience.
• Maintain salon cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations.
• Utilize salon software such as BOULEVARD for scheduling appointments, client management, and retail sales tracking.
• Offer retail product recommendations through upselling techniques to meet client needs and increase store sales.
• Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, booking appointments, and handling payments efficiently.
• Mentor junior team members and assist in store management tasks to foster a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology or barbering license as required by state regulations.
• Proven experience in hair styling, coloring, and grooming techniques.
• Knowledge of hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and nail care is highly desirable.
