Duties

• Deliver a wide range of hair services including cutting, styling, beard trims and shampoos
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations and salon policies.
• Help maintain a clean salon
• Engage with clients through excellent communication skills to understand their needs, recommend suitable services, and upsell retail products confidently.
• Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, taking turns annswering the phone, and handling inquiries professionally.
• Help to build a supportive, positive and collaborative workplace

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology or barbering license with comprehensive knowledge of current beauty trends and techniques.
• Strong understanding of sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build lasting client relationships.
• Knowledge of retail math for upselling products.
• Ability to perform duties including standing for long periods of time.
• Willingness to learn new techniques including retail sales strategies, store management principles, and advanced styling methods.
