Licensed Cosmetologist

Duties

• Provide professional hair styling, cutting, coloring, and extension services using current techniques and industry best practices
• Perform skin care treatments, including dermabrasion, esthetic laser treatments, body waxing, and facial procedures
• Deliver expert nail care services such as manicures, pedicures, and nail art with attention to sanitation and disinfection procedures
• Apply eyelash extensions, hair threading, and other specialized beauty treatments to meet client needs
• Educate clients on product recommendations and upsell retail items to enhance their beauty routines
• Maintain a clean, sanitized workspace following all disinfection procedures and health regulations
• Build lasting client relationships through excellent communication skills and personalized service experiences

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology license in accordance with state or local licensing requirements
• Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a strong portfolio of diverse services performed
• Knowledge of color theory for hair coloring and styling techniques
• Familiarity with sanitation standards, disinfection procedures, and safety protocols in a salon environment
