Licensed Cosmetologist

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate, licensed Hair Stylist to rent our beautiful, fully equipped on-site beauty shop at Village Woods Retirement Community in Baton Rouge. This is an independent booth rental (1099) position. You set your own hours, manage your own schedule, and run your own business with a built-in clientele right outside your salon door.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional hair styling, cutting, and coloring, tailored to each client’s preferences. Services are restricted exclusively to the residents of our 150-unit condominium complex. No outside public traffic is permitted.
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning tools and workstations after each service.
• Flexible Hours: you create your own schedule based on your appointments.
• Dedicated salon space provided; you bring your tools and talent.

Requirements

• Valid state cosmetology or barber license
• Heart for Seniors: Must love working with older adults, including those with limited mobility. Kindness and patience are required.
• Self-Managed: you handle your own booking and payment processing.
