Join our team as an esthetician.

Be Smooth is French spa in the Pearl District of downtown Portland. You’ll be a key part of the team empowering our clientele through high quality beauty services ranging from waxing, threading, facials and body treatments. You’ll be joining our team of experienced estheticians delivering not only expertise in skin treatment routines, but also delivering unique French products to our community.

Our team is a small one – our culture revolves around helping our peers with tasks that are outside those mentioned in this job posting, this may involve less ‘glamorous’ tasks such as laundry and prepping rooms. No task is ‘above’ anyone on the team!

Minimum Qualifications

3 years esthetic license

Experience in threading or waxing is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment.
• Perform hair threading and other esthetic services, including body waxing and facial treatments.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in the salon.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in cosmetology.
• Manage appointment schedules and client records using salon software.
• Educate clients on skincare products and services to enhance their experience.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.50 - $38.00 per hour
