Makeup Artist

Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and creative Makeup Artist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for beauty and a strong understanding of makeup techniques, trends, and products. As a Makeup Artist, you will be responsible for enhancing clients' appearances through makeup application, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a positive experience for all clients.

Duties

• Apply makeup for various occasions including weddings, photoshoots, and special events.
• Consult with clients to understand their preferences and desired looks.
• Sanitate tools and workstations to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Provide additional services such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, and hair threading as needed.
• Assist in retail sales by recommending products that suit clients' needs.
• Stay updated on the latest beauty trends and techniques to provide informed recommendations.
• Communicate effectively with clients to ensure satisfaction with services provided.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Makeup Artist or in a similar role within the beauty industry.
• Knowledge of cosmetology principles and practices is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and preferences.
• Experience in retail sales is advantageous but not mandatory.
