Part Time/Full Time Licensed Cosmetologist or Barber

Overview

We are looking for a part-time with a compensation range of $25 - $35 per hour, inclusive of tips and commissions. Candidate must be a licensed cosmetologist that is comfortable doing boys cut or licensed barber. Position may be Part Time or Full Time but Must be able to work Saturdays and Sundays.

Sharkey's Cuts for Kids is looking for people who naturally smile, have a friendly nature, an upbeat, positive attitude, and actively seek out, greet, and engage all guests in conversation.

Responsibilities

• Apply hygiene practices across all beauty stations.
• Ensure all treatments meet high-quality standards.
• Keep on top of current hair cutting and styling trends.
• Maintain cleanliness of the salon.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced atmosphere.
• Ability to work with kids.

Experience

• Current Cosmetology or Barber license for this state.
• Able to work weekends, both Saturday and Sunday.
• Must be able to cut boys hair (required) or comfortable doing fades (preferred).
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse clients
• Experience in retail sales, upselling techniques, and retail math to maximize revenue opportunities
• Ability to multitask efficiently at the front desk while maintaining high-quality service standards
