Pirates Dinner Adventure is seeking talented Airbrush Makeup Artists to join our makeup team for Vampirates, our seasonal Halloween production running on selected dates throughout September and October.

This position is ideal for artists with experience in theatrical makeup, body painting, and fast-paced live entertainment environments. Artists will be responsible for creating and maintaining vampire character looks using airbrush techniques while ensuring consistency, quality, and timely application for each performance.

Responsibilities

· Apply character makeup using airbrush systems and traditional techniques

· Recreate established Vampirates designs with consistency and attention to detail

· Perform touch-ups and maintain makeup quality throughout the pre-show process

· Prepare, clean, and sanitize all makeup tools and workstations

· Work efficiently within designated timelines to ensure cast readiness

· Collaborate with performers, wardrobe, and stage management teams

· Maintain a professional and positive backstage environment

Qualifications

· Previous airbrush makeup experience required

· Experience in theatrical, haunted attraction, body painting, film, or special effects makeup preferred

· Knowledge of sanitation and makeup safety practices

· Ability to work quickly and efficiently under time constraints

· Strong attention to detail and color blending skills

· Availability for selected evening and weekend performances in September and October

· Reliable transportation to Buena Park, California

Preferred Experience

· EBA Endura or alcohol-based airbrush makeup systems

· Special effects makeup and prosthetic application

· Live entertainment or theatrical productions

· Body painting and character makeup
