Haunt SFX Makeup Artist

Stalker Farms Haunted Attractions is hiring SFX Makeup Artists for the 2026 season.

SFX Makeup Artist bring our haunt to life by applying makeup, prosthetics, and other special fx products turning our actors into creepy monsters' night over night. In this fast paced job, you will work closely with our creative team to bring the vision of our characters to reality. This role requires passion in Haunt Makeup and strong special FX skills. Your artistry will be remembered by guests long after the night is over.

Key Responsibilities

• Recreate professional level makeup looks for actors based on character designs.
• Utilize multiple techniques, including airbrusing, hand painting, and more.
• Work efficiently within short time frames.
• Maintaining a clean, organized and sanitary workspace.
• Care for your makeup tools.
• Able to respond quickly to unexpected issues, or last minute requests.
• Participate in preseason training.

Job Qualification

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be available evenings and weekends from September thru November 1st.
• Comfortable standing for over 3 hours.
• Prior experience using Airbrush to apply makeup (Portfolio is strongly recommended).

This is a seasonal position.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: From $17.13 per hour

Expected hours: 12.0 – 16.0 per week
