Ashby Rose Hair is seeking a talented, motivated, and experienced Cosmetologist/Hairstylist to join our growing team. We are a modern, professional salon dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences through expert cutting, coloring, chemical services, styling, and personalized care.

We are looking for a licensed professional who is passionate about the beauty industry, committed to continued growth, and confident performing a wide range of hair services for men, women, and children.

Qualifications

• Current South Carolina Cosmetology License
• Strong consultation and communication skills
• Knowledge of sanitation, safety, and infection control procedures
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Retail and product recommendation experience preferred

Haircutting

• Men’s, women’s, and children’s haircuts
• Precision cutting techniques
• Layering, texturizing, and shaping
• Fades, tapers, clipper cuts, and scissor-over-comb techniques
• Blowouts and styling

Color Services

• Single-process color
• All-over color
• Gray coverage
• Fashion colors
• Corrective color
• Toners and glosses

Highlighting & Blonding

• Partial and full highlights
• Lowlights
• Balayage
• Blonding services

Chemical Services: (not mandator but preferred)

• Perms
• Keratin treatments
• Brazilian Blowout treatments

Styling & Treatments

• Blow-dry styling
• Flat iron and curling iron styling
• Natural texture styling
• Updos and special occasion styling
• Deep conditioning treatments
• Scalp treatments
