Responsibilities

• Provide professional hair styling, coloring, and hair extension services using industry best practices and current trends
• Perform specialized treatments such as hair threading, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and nail care to enhance client satisfaction
• Maintain strict sanitation standards and proper sterilization of tools in accordance with health regulations
• Utilize salon software systems like MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently
• Engage with clients through effective communication, understanding their needs and offering expert recommendations for hair care and retail products
• Upsell retail items such as hair care products, styling tools, and cosmetics to boost sales and meet store goals
• Assist with front desk duties including appointment booking, client check-in/out, and managing the overall salon environment
• Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques in barbering, color theory, and advanced styling methods to promote team growth
• Support store management with daily operations including inventory management and retail math calculations

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology or barbering license required; additional certifications in eyelash extensions or nail care are a plus
