Duties

• Deliver comprehensive beauty services including hair styling, coloring, extensions, nail care, makeup application, waxing, threading, and facial treatments.
• Perform advanced aesthetic procedures such as dermabrasion, dermal fillers, Botox injections, laser treatments, and body waxing with precision and safety.
• Manage appointments efficiently using salon software like Millennium or MINDBODY to ensure smooth scheduling and client flow.
• Engage with clients through excellent customer service by understanding their needs, offering product demos, upselling retail products, and providing tailored recommendations.
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning tools and workspaces in compliance with health regulations.
• Utilize social media management skills to promote services, showcase client transformations through before-and-after photos, and build a strong online presence.
• Assist at the front desk with guest services such as check-ins, product sales, appointment confirmations, and answering client inquiries to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Stay current with industry trends in color theory, hair techniques like straight razor shaving or hair threading, and new treatments to continually elevate service quality.

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology license or certification recognized by state licensing boards; additional certifications in esthetic laser treatment or tattooing are a plus.
• Proven experience in hair styling, coloring (including highlights), extensions, nail care (manicures/pedicures), makeup application, and skincare treatments.
• Familiarity with salon management software such as Millennium or MINDBODY for scheduling and client management.
• Strong management skills to handle retail sales effectively while upselling products confidently.
• Excellent communication skills to connect with clients professionally and empathetically.
• Knowledge of sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Experience with advanced aesthetic procedures like dermal fillers or Botox injections (med spa experience preferred).
• Ability to perform body waxing, eyelash extensions, hair threading, deep tissue massage techniques or other specialized services as needed.
