Cosmetologist

Your skills in hair shaping/styling, color techniques and curling/straightening techniques will help maintain our salon’s reputation for excellence. As a member of our team, you’ll engage with our guests through outstanding customer service, promote retail products, and contribute to a welcoming, professional, spa-like environment that we strive to provide for each of our guests.

Duties

• Provide a wide range of beauty services including hair styling, coloring, curling/straightening and cutting using current techniques..
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools and workspaces in compliance with health regulations.
• Demonstrate product demos and educate guests on haircare routines and retail products to boost sales and client loyalty.
• Stay current with industry trends.
• Manage your professional social media accounts to promote salon services, showcase transformations through before-and-after photos, and engage with the community to attract new guests.

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology license.
• Experience with Envision software is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities to understand our guest's needs clearly.
• Proficiency in sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
• Familiarity with salon retail sales techniques including upselling products effectively.
• Knowledge of social media management for marketing purposes is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a professional demeanor in spa-like setting.
