Responsibilities

• Provide a wide range of beauty services including hair styling, hair extensions, hair threading, and makeup application to meet client needs.
• Administer advanced treatments such as botulinum toxin injections, dermal fillers, esthetic laser treatments, chemical peels, dermabrasion, and body waxing.
• Perform nail care services like manicures, pedicures, and nail art to enhance client satisfaction.
• Conduct skin care treatments including facials, chemical peels, dermal therapies, and deep tissue massage to promote healthy skin.
• Manage retail sales by recommending products during consultations and conducting product demos to educate clients on their benefits.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and safety in accordance with industry regulations; ensure all equipment is properly sterilized.
• Utilize salon software such as Millennium and MINDBODY for scheduling appointments, managing client records, and processing transactions efficiently.
• Engage with clients through social media management to promote services, share updates, and build lasting relationships.
• Assist with front desk duties including greeting guests, answering inquiries, and supporting guest services to ensure a seamless experience.
• Stay current on industry trends like tattooing techniques and color theory to provide innovative services that exceed expectations.

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology license or certification as required by state law.
• Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a strong portfolio of diverse skills including haircutting, coloring, makeup application, and skincare treatments.
• Familiarity with salon management software such as Millennium or MINDBODY; experience with salon software is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of advanced procedures like dermal fillers, Botox administration (Botulinum toxin treatment), esthetic laser treatments, and chemical peels.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to educate clients on various treatments and products effectively.
• Experience in social media management for marketing purposes is a plus.
• Ability to perform hair styling techniques including straight razor shaves and hair extensions confidently.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that fosters client loyalty.
• Knowledge of sanitation protocols and safety standards within a professional salon or med spa environment.
• Ability to upsell products and additional services tactfully while maintaining a guest-first approach.

Pay: $23.02 - $27.72 per hour
