Hair and Makeup Artist

We are seeking a skilled, professional Hair & Makeup Artist to join our photography productions on a per-shoot basis. This is a luxury, image-forward environment where quality, precision, and professionalism are non-negotiable. You will be responsible for preparing talent for camera from start to finish and staying on set to ensure every look remains flawless throughout the shoot.

What You'll Do

• Provide full hair and makeup services for all on-camera talent prior to and during shoots
• Execute camera-ready makeup looks that translate beautifully on-lens across various lighting setups
• Perform continuous touch-ups throughout the shoot, including lip color changes, hair resets, and skin maintenance between shots
• Collaborate closely with the photographer and creative team to support the visual direction
• Assist the photographer and production team with basic on-set tasks as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized kit and work area at all times

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in hair and makeup for photography, editorial, or commercial productions
• Strong command of camera-ready and high-definition makeup techniques
• Proficiency in a wide range of hair styling from touch-ups to full styling
• Impeccably punctual early arrival is the standard, not the exception
• Calm, adaptable, and polished under the pace of a live shoot
• A luxury-service mindset with excellent communication skills
• Professional and clean kit with professional work space set up

Compensation & Schedule

• $80 per hour/ 3-hour minimum guaranteed per booking
• Freelance / per-shoot basis
• Schedule varies based on calendar
