Cookie Cutters Haircuts for Kids at Hillsdale Mall- San Mateo is not your average salon. We specialize in creating a fun, stress-free haircut experience for kids of all abilities. Our team is supportive, fast-paced, and passionate about making both our clients *and* our stylists feel valued. We offer high hourly pay, great tips, and ongoing training opportunities — all while respecting your work-life balance.

Why this role is different For the first time, we’re opening spots for Stylists and Barbers who only want to work: ✨ Saturdays and Sundays (with 1 Saturday and 1 Sunday off each month if needed!) ✨ One to two evenings a week (3:30 PM – 8:00 PM)

What we’re looking for We need friendly, reliable Hair Stylists or Barbers who:

• Hold a valid Barbering or Cosmetology license.
• Love working with children.
• Show up on time, ready to work.
• Can thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Are open to feedback and eager to grow.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide quality haircuts and a positive experience for every child.
• Bring your own clippers, trimmers, and scissors (we provide the rest!).
• Answer parent questions and recommend products when needed.
• Offer expert advice on hair care routines, products, and styling techniques to enhance client satisfaction
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning tools and workstations after each service
• Utilize salon software to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently
• Provide specialized services including shampooing, hair styling, blow drying, etc. to diversify client offerings
