Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, color, treatments, bridal hair, makeup and styling according to client preferences
• Provide exceptional customer service by understanding client needs and offering professional advice
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all work areas and tools to ensure a safe environment
• Upsell retail products by recommending suitable hair care items during appointments
• Manage front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and processing payments
• Communicate effectively with clients to build rapport and ensure satisfaction with services provided
• Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in hairstyling to deliver innovative looks
• Assist in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat business

Qualifications

• Valid Cosmetology or Hair Styling license in accordance with state requirements
• Proven experience in hair styling, haircutting, coloring, and styling techniques
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent communication skills for effective client consultations and team collaboration
