Hairstylist/Cosmetologist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and creative Cosmetologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the beauty industry, possess excellent customer service skills, and have expertise in various cosmetology services. Responsibilities: - Provide professional hair, skin, and nail services to clients - Stay updated on current beauty trends and techniques - Consult with clients to understand their needs and preferences - Perform haircuts, coloring, styling, and treatments - Offer skincare treatments and makeup application - Perform manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements - Recommend products for at-home maintenance - Maintain a clean and organized work station Skills: - Proficiency in color theory for hair coloring services - Experience with straight razor techniques for shaving or styling - Knowledge of front desk operations for scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries - Ability to manage a salon or store if required - Expertise in hair threading for precise hair removal - Familiarity with eyelash extensions application techniques - Proficient in hair extensions installation and maintenance - Capability to mentor junior staff members in cosmetology skills - Familiarity with MINDBODY software for scheduling and client management - Skills in barbering including men's grooming services Join our team of talented professionals dedicated to providing exceptional beauty services.
