Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, and hair extensions using advanced techniques such as balayage, highlights, and color theory principles.
• Provide expert consultations to understand clients’ needs and recommend suitable treatments or styles.
• Execute specialized services like eyelash extensions, eyebrow waxing, and nail care to enhance overall client satisfaction.
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by properly disinfecting tools and workstations in accordance with health regulations.
• Utilize salon software such as Meevo to schedule appointments, process retail sales, and manage client records efficiently.
• Recommend retail products like hair care items, styling tools, and skin care to meet client needs while increasing salon revenue.
• Mentor junior staff by sharing techniques in hair styling, barbering, and customer service excellence.
• Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, booking appointments, and ensuring a smooth flow of daily operations.
• Stay current with industry trends by participating in ongoing training sessions related to hair coloring, styling innovations, and new product launches.

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology or barbering license as required by Wisconsin state law.
• Proven experience in hair styling, coloring techniques including the use of color theory principles.
• Skilled in applying hair extensions, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and nail care services.
• Knowledge of salon software such as Meevo for scheduling and retail management.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with clients and team members.
• Ability to perform sanitation procedures meticulously to ensure a safe environment for clients and teammates.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that makes clients feel valued and comfortable.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
