We are seeking a talented and energetic Hairstylist/Cosmetologist to join our dynamic salon team! In this role, you will be the creative force behind our clients’ beauty transformations, providing expert hair styling, coloring, and styling services. Your passion for beauty and dedication to exceptional customer service will help clients look and feel their best. This position offers a vibrant work environment where your skills in hair color, cutting and styling. As a key team member, you’ll need to schedule appointments and manage client records. Your expertise in sanitation, store management, and communication will ensure a safe, welcoming space for all.

This is a commission based pay.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional hair styling, coloring, cutting, and finishing services tailored to each client’s preferences and features
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment in accordance with health regulations and salon standards
• book appointments, update client profiles, and manage scheduling efficiently
• Provide excellent customer service by listening attentively to clients’ needs and offering personalized recommendations for other services
• Assist with front desk duties such as greeting clients, managing check-ins/outs
• Stay current on industry trends related to color theory, styling and cutting to deliver innovative services

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology license
• At least 5 years experience in hair styling, coloring (including advanced techniques), and cutting services
• Strong communication skills to connect effectively with clients and team members
• Ability to perform math calculations for ringing out the drawer confidently
• Passion for continuing education in areas like color theory, cutting and new styling techniques
