Position Summary

The Licensed Cosmetologist provides professional hair care services to service members, civilians, and visitors at the Columbus Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) installation. We are currently seeking one or more cosmetologists who specialize in textured hair care and straightening, haircutting and color services, and braiding and natural hair styling. This role requires professionalism, technical expertise, and strict adherence to Ohio Board of Cosmetology regulations.

Textured Hair Specialist

• Silk presses and thermal straightening
• Healthy hair maintenance and treatments
• Natural hair care and styling
• Blowouts and styling services
• Hair extension services (bonus, not required)

Cut & Color Specialist

• Women's, kids, and men's haircuts
• Hair coloring, highlights, lowlights, balayage, and gray coverage
• Corrective color services
• Styling and finishing services
• Hair extension services (bonus, not required)

Braids & Natural Hair Specialist

• Protective styling
• Cornrows, twists, and braided styles
• Natural hair styling and maintenance
• Loc maintenance and styling preferred
• Hair extension services (bonus, not required)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform professional hair services within your area of expertise.
• Conduct client consultations and recommend appropriate services and products.
• Shampoo, condition, style, and finish hair services.
• Maintain sanitation, disinfection, and safety standards in accordance with Ohio Board of Cosmetology regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional appearance.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workstations in proper working condition.
