What You’ll Do

As a Barber/Hair Stylist at Iron Blade, you’ll be on the floor delivering world-class grooming services and helping create a comfortable, elevated environment. Your responsibilities will include:

* Provide a full range of barbering services:

+ Precision haircuts (men’s, boys, and select women’s) + Beard grooming, trimming, sculpting + If you have a barbers license, traditional hot shaves, straight razor work + Scalp/nape cleans, neck shaves, edge-ups, line-ups * Consult with clients on desired styles, offering suggestions in line with their hair type, face shape, and lifestyle * Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and shop presentation * Upsell retail grooming products (e.g. pomades, beard oils) when appropriate * Build rapport and cultivate repeat clientele through friendly, professional service * Handle appointment bookings, keep accurate client records, manage rebooking * Stay current on barbering trends, techniques, and tools * Collaborate with team members to maintain a cohesive shop culture

What We’re Looking For

Must-haves / Requirements

• Valid cosmetology and/or barber license (in good standing in the state)
• Proven experience working in a barbershop or salon environment
• Proficiency in classic and modern barbering techniques (razor, clipper, scissor over comb, fades, tapers, etc.)
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Cleanliness and hygiene mindset; knowledge of proper sanitation practices
