Responsibilities

* Provide haircuts, shaves, and grooming services tailored to individual patient preferences. * Maintain a clean and safe workspace in compliance with health and safety regulations. * Engage with patients to ensure comfort and satisfaction during services. * Collaborate with the hospice team to understand patient needs and preferences. * Keep accurate records of services provided and patient interactions. * Stay updated on trends and techniques in the beauty industry to offer the best care. * Utilize appropriate tools and products to ensure high-quality grooming services. * Provide excellent customer service and build rapport with patients and their families.

Requirements

* Valid California barber or cosmetologist license. * Experience in a salon or similar environment, preferably with elderly or hospice patients. * Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor. * Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. * Knowledge of hygiene and safety standards in the beauty industry. * Flexibility to adapt to patients' needs and schedules. * Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and staff. * Passion for enhancing the quality of life for patients through personal care.
