Job Summary

A growing, luxury photography studio is seeking a reputable, experienced Hair & Makeup Artist to join our creative team on a PRN / as-needed basis. This role is ideal for an established artist looking to pick up additional hours while working in a high-end, client-focused environment.

About the Role

You will provide polished, camera-ready hair and makeup services for portrait sessions, branding shoots, and special studio projects. Our clientele values not only exceptional quality but also a warm, elevated experience. We are looking for an artist who is bubbly, personable, and genuinely enjoys working with people.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional hair styling and makeup application for photography sessions
• Create clean, timeless, and camera-ready looks tailored to each client
• Engage warmly with clients, helping them feel confident, comfortable, and cared for
• Maintain a calm, upbeat, and polished presence during sessions
• Ensure proper sanitation and care of tools and products
• Collaborate with photographers and studio staff to achieve the desired look

Requirements

• Professional hair and makeup experience (studio, bridal, or editorial experience preferred)
• Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of natural to elevated looks
• Friendly, bubbly personality with a love for working with people
• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
• Ability to work PRN, including occasional weekdays and weekends
• Must provide own professional kit and tools
