Job Opening: Hair Stylist/Barber

We are seeking a skilled and licensed barber to join our high-demand, appointment-only barbershop. This opportunity is ideal for someone looking to build their clientele from existing over flow and building new relationships. This is a small 2 chair boutique barber shop with a long history in the community.

Responsibilities

• Provide top-quality haircuts and grooming services in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation
• Offer excellent customer service and build strong client relationships
• Comply with all state licensing, health, and safety regulations

Compensation & Schedule

• Currently hiring independent contractor.
• Commission based pay opportunity.
• Independent contractor role – responsible for your own taxes, insurance, and compliance.
• The wide pay range in the description is lowest for training highest for top tier commission before tips.

Requirements

• Valid California barber license or cosmetology license
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Confident in delivering consistent, high-quality services
• Comfortable in a busy, appointment-based environment
• Comfortable working independently and as a team.
• Portfolio highlighting skills and abilities, resume with references.

Experience

* Hair styling: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification

• Barbering License (Preferred)
