Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of beauty services including haircuts, styling, coloring, extensions, eyelash extensions, and nail care with precision and artistry.
• Provide expert consultations on hair care routines, color theory applications, and current beauty trends to ensure client satisfaction.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and sanitation protocols in accordance with industry regulations to ensure client safety.
• Utilize salon management software such as MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently.
• Offer retail product recommendations and upsell services to enhance client experience while increasing revenue opportunities.
• Manage front desk duties including greeting clients, booking appointments, handling payments, and maintaining a welcoming environment.
• Mentor junior team members or apprentices by sharing techniques in hair threading, makeup application, and store management best practices.
• Keep abreast of industry trends by participating in ongoing education related to barbering techniques like straight razor shaves or advanced hair styling methods.

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology or barbering license with proven experience in hair styling and related beauty services.
• Demonstrated expertise in hair extensions, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and nail care.
• Strong understanding of color theory for customized coloring solutions.
• Proficiency with salon software such as MINDBODY or similar platforms for scheduling and retail management.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with clients and understand their needs.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices within the beauty industry.
• Ability to perform retail math for upselling products confidently while maintaining excellent customer service.

Pay: $21.63 - $26.05 per hour
