Responsibilities

• Provide a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client preferences.
• Consult with clients to understand their desired looks and recommend appropriate styles and treatments.
• Utilize barbering techniques and straight razor skills when necessary for precision cuts.
• Apply hair extensions and perform eyelash extension services as requested by clients.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized.
• Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY for scheduling appointments and managing client records.
• Engage in retail sales by recommending products that enhance client satisfaction and promote salon offerings.
• Mentor junior stylists and assist in their professional development through guidance and support.

Skills

• Proficiency in hair styling techniques, natural styling, including cutting, braiding, loc maintenance and coloring
• Experience with barbering skills and straight razor usage is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of retail math to effectively manage product sales and inventory.
• Ability to mentor others, fostering a collaborative environment within the salon.
• Strong retail sales skills to drive product recommendations and enhance client experiences.
