Esthetician/Cosmetologist

Artistry Salon is looking for an Esthetician and who is also proficient facials. With a long-standing clientele interested in hair removal, Artistry Salon offers an opportunity for a skilled Esthetician or cosmetologist to build a client base. If you have experience with hair removal, facials, dermaplaning and HydraFacials and meet the following qualifications, we encourage you to apply:

Duties

• Give facials to clients, using special compounds such as lotions and creams
• Shape eyebrows and remove facial hair, using depilatory cream, tweezers, wax, or thread
• Full-body waxing
• Has knowledge or training in microdermabrasion/ facials
• Assesses clients’ skin condition and give suggestions for proper skin care regiments
• Shape eyebrows and remove facial hair, using depilatory cream, tweezers, and thread
• Assesses clients’ facial hair condition and perform hair removal as necessary
• Maintains safe and healthy conditions by following organization standards and legal regulations
• Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops
• Maintain and clean equipment and instruments, and keep work areas sterile
• Perform administrative duties that may include answering the telephone, creating and updating records, and ordering supplies

Requirements

• High-school graduate (or equivalent)
• Valid and active license to practice
