Hair & Makeup Artist for Luxury Photography Sessions (Paducah, KY Area)

Pay

$50/hour (3-hour minimum) Location: Paducah, KY and surrounding Western Kentucky area Position Type: Freelance / Contract / As-Needed

Brittany Callahan Photography is seeking a reliable, talented hair and makeup artist in the Paducah, Kentucky area to become a trusted part of my client experience.

I am looking for someone I can build a long-term working relationship with—someone who can serve as my go-to artist for photography sessions in Western Kentucky, with occasional opportunities in Southern Illinois for those willing to travel (travel to Southern Illinois is a bonus, but not required).

This role involves traveling to clients’ homes prior to their portrait sessions to provide professional hair and makeup services, then remaining on-site during the session for touch-ups and adjustments as needed.

What I’m Looking For

• Experience with both hair styling and makeup application
• Ability to create soft, polished, natural-looking makeup
• Strong understanding of makeup for professional photography
• Someone who enhances natural beauty rather than creating dramatic or heavy looks
• Professional, dependable, and personable with clients
• Comfortable working in clients’ homes and on location
• Reliable transportation

Session Expectations

• Travel to client’s home or session location
• Complete initial hair and makeup application
• Stay during the photography session for touch-ups (hair adjustments, shine control, lipstick touch-ups, etc.)
• Help clients feel comfortable, confident, and camera-ready

Compensation

• $50 per hour
• 3-hour minimum per booking
• Additional session time paid hourly
