We are seeking an experienced, dynamic and talented Hairstylist/Cosmetologist to join our vibrant salon team! In this role, you will deliver exceptional hair and beauty services that leave clients feeling confident and beautiful. Your expertise in hair styling, coloring, extensions, and grooming will help create personalized looks that match each client's unique style. You’ll also play a key role in providing outstanding customer service, maintaining a clean and sanitized environment, and contributing to the overall positive atmosphere of our salon. Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of hair services including cuts, styling, coloring, highlights, balayage, and hair extensions using techniques like the straight razor for precise grooming.
• Provide specialized treatments such as eyelash extensions, nail care, and makeup application to enhance client beauty routines.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness according to industry regulations to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Use salon software such as Vagaro to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently.
• Assist clients with retail product recommendations based on their needs and preferences; upsell retail items like hair care products and accessories.
• Manage front desk duties including greeting clients, answering inquiries, and scheduling appointments while delivering excellent customer service.
• Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques in hair threading, color theory, and retail sales strategies to foster professional growth.
• Stay current with industry trends in hair styling, barbering, makeup application, and nail care to provide innovative services.

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology license required
• Proven experience in hair styling, coloring (including advanced techniques like balayage)
• Strong knowledge of sanitation practices and salon safety standards.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and team members effectively.
• Passion for continuous learning about new trends in hair styling, makeup application, threading techniques, and store management practices.

Pay: $250.00 - $800.00 per week
