Duties

• Perform a wide range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and hair extensions using advanced techniques such as balayage or ombre.
• Apply makeup and nail care treatments to enhance clients’ overall look and confidence.
• Conduct consultations to understand client preferences, recommend suitable styles or treatments, and educate on hair care routines.
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by sterilizing tools, cleaning workstations, and adhering to health regulations.
• Upsell retail products such as hair care items, styling tools, and cosmetics to meet client needs and boost salon revenue.
• Mentor junior team members in hair styling techniques, customer service excellence, and salon operations.
• Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, booking appointments, and handling payments with retail math proficiency.
• Stay current with industry trends in color theory, barbering techniques like straight razor shaves, and new beauty treatments to provide innovative services.

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology knowledge of sanitation practices.
• Strong communication skills to connect effectively with diverse clients and team members.
• Knowledge of retail sales strategies including upselling techniques to maximize revenue opportunities.
