HIRING COSMETOLOGY INSTUCTOR

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Cosmetology Instructor to educate, mentor, and inspire future beauty professionals. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Teach cosmetology theory and practical skills in accordance with the curriculum.
• Demonstrate professional cosmetology techniques, safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress and performance.
• Prepare lesson plans, classroom activities, and practical demonstrations.
• Maintain accurate attendance, grading, and student records.
• Provide coaching, mentorship, and constructive feedback to students.
• Prepare students for California State Board licensing examinations.
• Ensure compliance with school policies, safety standards, and state regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional classroom and clinic floor.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development activities.
• Assist with student retention and promote a positive educational experience.
• Support admissions, orientation, and school events as needed.
• Classroom management, reliable.
• Walking and standing, maintain a clean and sanitary clinic floor.

Qualifications

• Current California Cosmetology Instructor License.
• Minimum 3-5 years of industry experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and engage students of diverse backgrounds.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Basic computer skills and recordkeeping ability.
• Commitment to student success and educational excellence.
