Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Skilled Cosmetologist to join our dedicated team at Titusville Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, a 2013 recipient of The American Healthcare Association / National Center For Assisted Living Bronze Quality Award. As a Skilled Cosmetologist, you will play a vital role in enhancing the overall well-being and appearance of our residents, providing exceptional hair, skin, and nail care services. This is a part-time opportunity to join our team in Titusville, Pennsylvania, where we have been providing quality healthcare services for over 40 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality hair, skin, and nail care services to residents, including cutting, styling, coloring, and shaving
• Develop and maintain relationships with residents, understanding their unique needs and preferences
• Maintain a clean and organized salon environment, adhering to infection control protocols and high standards of hygiene
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, attending training sessions and workshops as needed
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the enhancement of our services and facilities

Requirements

• Skilled Cosmetologist license and certification
• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in cosmetology or a related field preferred
• Part-time schedule, with flexibility to adapt to changing resident needs
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
